Welcome
to Washington Avenue.com
|
Washington-Avenue.com
is a site created for businesses and merchants on Washington Avenue
in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. In
the fall of 2005, we launched a 4-part marketing campaign to redefine
and rebuild the avenue, its image and its brand. We began with:
1.
Distintive Stickers were located across
the avenue to speak to residents and all supportive businesses. The
message simply read:
I
Support Washington Avenue. I Eat, Shop and Do Business Here on Washington
Avenue.
2.
Fall Postcard: 22 Businesses got together
and create a new spirit of cooperation. The next set of postcards will
be available in March 2005, just in time for Spring 2006.
3.
Website: This site launch in late October
with web links to businesses, merchants. The second phase will be in
December and will involve constructing a page for businesses without
websites.
4.
Prospect Heights Booklet: This is still
developing.
